摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition high tension cord wiring mechanism avoiding interference with a speed governing lever or the like, facilitating inspection work of an ignition plug and capable of improving assembly of an engine. SOLUTION: The slanted engine is composed of a speed governing operation lever 11 and an oscillating arm 12 of a centrifugal governor 10 arranged across an upper face of a crankcase 1 and an upper face of a slanted cylinder block 3, a fan cover 18 provided in one side face of the crankcase 1, and a fuel tank 23 annexed to an upper side of the crankcase 1. The ignition high tension cord 26 is led out from a cover assembly wall 8 for the fan cover 18, by-passed around the speed governing lever 11 and the oscillating arm 12, and passed through a space between the crankcase 1 and the fuel tank 23. Its tip attachment part 26a is connected to the ignition plug 27.
