A device for the transmission of a force, especially a pressure force, along an essentially straight stretch has at least one elongated, articulated transmission element, capable of being curved on one side, which is guided in a guide channel, preferably with two elongated, articulated transmission elements (2,3), capable of being curved on one side along the straight stretch. The housing is divided into two housing parts (7,8) in its longitudinal direction. Out of at least one of the two housing parts inside the guide channel with at least one open guide channel section (11,12) in a first one of the two housing parts spaced away from one another as well as on one side, open screw channels (23-26) are molded inside. They are suitable for accepting screws in screw connection with which especially the two housing parts can be screwed.
