<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup power supply which can surely exchange a backup battery without losing backup data of an absolute encoder. SOLUTION: A battery connecting section 104 for connecting the backup battery 105 and a battery connecting section 108 are connected in parallel, a voltage of the main power supply 102 is shut off while the backup battery 105 is connected to the battery connecting section 104, a new backup battery is connected to the battery connecting section 108, and thereafter the backup battery 105 is removed from the backup battery connecting section 104.</p> |
