PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such that in case of using a destaticizing brush, a conductive fiber breaks and drops out from an end part, or the open end part of the conductive fiber may separate from the tip part of the destaticizing brush and splashes and leaps, and as a result, the problem occurs that a picture missing occurs when the conductive fiber which dropped out adheres on a surface of a master and is conveyed to a printing machine, moreover, a problem occurs that the fiber may make a hole in the film portion of the master, since the fiber itself of the destaticizing brushes, such as a carbon fiber having a high destaticizing effect, has intensity. SOLUTION: In a plate making apparatus 20 equipped with a thermal head 27 for photoengraving a master 22, a platen roller 27 conveying the master 22, and a master conveyance rout MR for conveying and guiding the master 22, a destaticizing component 14 having a composition that a conductive double- sided adhesive tape 19 is adhered on the both-ends 15b of a destaticizing cloth 17 having an air permeability which is knit with the conductive fiber 15 on both the guide boards 25, 25A that change the direction of the master conveyance route MR.
