PURPOSE: An interactive translation method of a web document is provided to enable a user to fill up sentences, written in a domestic language, in a bulletin or a search window, to translate the sentences into a target foreign language, and to transmit the translated sentences to a web server. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user executing a translation software and logging in the software(S1), the user getting the translation software to be automatically updated(S2-S4), the user executing a main module of the translation software(S5), the user filling up Hangul sentences in a web bulletin board in a foreign web site and requesting a translation into a target foreign language by clicking on a control button of a tool bar(S6), the translation software receiving the control instruction, and detecting which area is a requested character area by executing a character detection processor(S7), the translation software extracting the character set(S8), the translation software converting the character set into corresponding character codes, a translation engine translating the character codes into target language(S9), the translation software transmitting the translated codes to a translation document processor(S10), and the translation document processor displaying the translated result(S11).
