The invention relates to a process for preparing industrial sulphur from flotation concentrates obtained from sulphur ores by autoclaving and steam injection up to a temperature of 125...140 degree C and a pressure of 2.5...3.5 bars, when the sulphur melting and the drops coalescence occurs. Then steam injection is interrupted for 20...30 min for the charge to settle, the resulting solution being filtered and the molten sulphur discharged. The steam injection is started again for 50...70 min and the refuse is discharged. The reagents employed during the autoclaving stage: active carbon, tall oil, sodium sulphide, sodium silicate and sodium carbonate ensure the separation of the industrial sulphur from andesitic and siliceous ores.
