PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device capable of stably accurately correcting an image forming position in a main scanning direction at a high speed and at a low cost without needing any mechanical correction and high frequency signal. SOLUTION: A side registration correction amount S concerning the deviation of the image forming position from a reference position and a magnification correction amount MA concerning the rate of main scanning length to reference main scanning length are obtained by a registration error data acquiring part 61 and a registration correction data generator 62, and inputted color image data is converted into image data where an image edge is smoothed by a multilevel image data generator 60 so as to obtain an LD(laser diode) lighting signal for correcting the image forming position by an image positional deviation correcting device 70 based on the converted image data and the correction amounts S and MA. |
