PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a descriptive frame work for an AV presentation system. SOLUTION: This system includes an interface that enables a user to obtain some different displays of AV contents. The system includes a description structure which specifies an outline selected by the user 60 and designates its position. A multiview menu of an outline in an obtainable format is presented to the user 60, and when the user 60 selects the outline in the format, the system provides the user 60 with the outline in the format. An outline description service is provided the user based on the selection and use history of the user. Subsequently, when AV materials are transmitted to the user 60, a description service provider 64 offers the user 60 an outline description to enable the user to prepare an outline of the materials and to use it. |
