PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently backfill in a short time a mounting hole for the working scaffold or hanging piece of a steel structure, as well as the trace of a precast concrete hole for retaining the form of a concrete structure. SOLUTION: This ornamental plug 1, having a shank 2 with an outside diameter and a length that match the dimension of a hole to be backfilled, flanges 3, 4 provided at both ends of the shank 2 and formed to have a slightly smaller outside diameter on its side inserted into the hole to be backfilled than a driving outside diameter, and a hole 5 provided in the center of the inserted side for permitting expansion and contraction, is formed from silicone resin or a plastic material having heat resistance and mechanical strength. The ornamental plug 1 is pressed in from one side of a bolt mounting hole 28 to be backfilled, to easily seal the hole.
