PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method capable of easily detecting the variation of carrying speed by a user. SOLUTION: In the case of detecting the variation of carrying speed, an operator first inserts a test sheet, on which a sawtooth wave is printed as a picture, from the insertion port of a medium processor (step S1). Thus, the medium processor reads the picture of the test sheet (step S2). Next, the operator displays (outputs) data on the picture of the test sheet read by the medium processor on the display screen of a display device (step S3). After then, whether the variation of the carrying speed occurs or not when the medium processor reads the picture is confirmed (judged) based on the read picture displayed on the display screen (step S4).
