PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow many AC adapters to be inserted by providing sockets on both the surface and back face of a casing. SOLUTION: This receptacle strip 1 is provided with a plurality of, e.g. six, sockets 2 on the surface A and back face B of a casing 10. The inner structure of each socket 2 may be normal, and blade receiving springs receiving the plug blades of an AC adapter are connected to electric wires 3. The sockets 2 are arranged at intervals so that the adjacent socket 2 is not blocked when the AC adapter is inserted. When the sockets 2 on the surface A and back face B are located at the same positions, the casing 10 is made slightly thicker than normal. The casing 10 is not required to be made thicker if the fitting positions of the sockets 2 are displaced on the surface A and back face B. The blade receiving springs are electrically connected to the electric wires 3 with conductors, and every other blade receiving spring is fitted in the opposite direction.
