SOLUTION: In this photosensitive liquid applicator provided with the metering roll 4 for regulating the thickness of a photosensitive layer obtained by applying the liquid on a support body to a final film thickness and the blade 6 for scraping the photosensitive liquid struck to the roll 6, surface roughness (Ra) of the roll 6 is controlled to 0.15 to 0.5 μm.
