PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and lightweight towing body which can fly freely in the lateral or longitudinal direction with respect to an aircraft. SOLUTION: A towing body 3 is towed by an aircraft through a towing rope. Antennas 5, 5a receive a flight command signal. A receiver 6 receives receiving signals 11, 11a, demodulates the flight command signal and outputs a command control signal 12. A gyro 7 detects the attitude of the towing body 3 and outputs an attitude signal 13. A controller 8 calculates a driving amount based on the command control signal 12 and the attitude signal 13 and outputs signals 14, 14a, 14b, 14c for driving actuators 9, 9a, 9b, 9c. Movable equalizing plates 10, 10a, 10b, 10c are opened/closed by driving the actuators.
