PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip network electric component capable of preventing shortcircuit of adjacent soldering parts. SOLUTION: A plurality of protruding parts 4 of an insulating base substance 2 is constituted of protruding part main bodies 4a and tip parts 4b positioned at the tip sides of the protruding part main bodies 4a. The tip part 4b is so formed that its center practically coincides with the center of the protruding part main body 4a, and a width dimension L1 in the direction toward which an edge 3a of a base substance main body 3 stretches is made smaller than a width dimension L2 in the direction toward which an edge 3a of the protruding part main body 4a stretches. Thick film electrodes for connection are formed on the tip parts 4b.
