PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying roll paper feeding method and device therefor capable of preventing a damage on the edge of a record paper, a breakage of the record paper, and an interruption to a normal feeding of the record paper. SOLUTION: Before copying roll paper 10 formed by winding multiple sheets of recording paper 10A, 10B, 10C in a laminated state is pulled out to a recording area to record prescribed information, the recording paper is fed while the uppermost surface and the lowermost surface of the recording paper 10A, 10B, 10C pulled out of the copying roll paper 10 are pressed at a guide part on a transport route closest to the copying roll paper 10.
