PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jumper switch which enables a chip-type circuit element to be attached and detached readily. SOLUTION: A jumper switch 20 is provided with a chip-type circuit element 1, a pin 3 with a pair of pins 31, 32 projecting from a substrate 33, a pair of through holes 11, 12 passing through from one surface 13a of a housing 13 to the other surface 13b thereof and a socket 2 with a recessed part 10 provided to the surface 13a of the housing 13. In the switch 20, the chip-type circuit element 1 is fit to the recessed part 10 of the socket 2 freely, the socket 2 and the pin 3 are fit to be attached and detached freely by making the pins 31, 32 inserted to the through holes 11, 12 from the surface 13b of the housing 13 freely and the chip type circuit element 1 and the pins 31, 32 are electrically connected freely through the through holes 11, 12.
