PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability and adjusting efficiency by installing a circular arc-shaped magnetic material along the outer surface of a neck part between a plurality of ring-shaped magnet plates for forming multi-pole magnetic field on the inside joined in a funnel part to a panel part and containing an electron gun structural body and a cathode of the electron gun structural body. SOLUTION: A convergence magnet 18 together with a dipole magnet plate is installed on a neck part 3 side of a deflecting device which forms a non- homogeneous magnetic field within a tube, deflects electron beams in the horizontal and vertical directions, and focuses on a phosphor layer. The convergence magnet has ring-shaped tetra pole and hexa pole magnet plates 15, 16 for generating static magnetic field facing two by two, a holder, a spacer 18c, a lock spring 18d, and a magnetic material 17. Correction of magnetic field in which a prescribed number of cylindrical magnetic materials 17 positioned in the tube axis direction within the neck part 3 and coincided with outer surface curvature introduce part of a correction magnetic field, and act on electron beams is almost equalized in the vertical and horizontal directions.
