PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay with good workability during assembling, and with a fixed contact plate being precisely located in relation to a body. SOLUTION: Housing grooves 12a, 12b to attach fixed contact plates 21a, 21b to a body 10 with an attaching recess 11 which houses an electromagnet block are formed. Recessed grooves 27 for press fitting are formed at the sides of the fixed contact plates 21a, 21b, when the fixed contact plates 21a, 21b are attached to the housing grooves 12a, 12b, press fitting protrusions 18 formed at the bottom of the housing grooves 12a, 12b projectingly are press fitted recessed grooves 27.
