PURPOSE: A method for managing V5.2 interface status information in a full electronic switching exchange is provided to manage V5.2 status information independently and efficiently by installing a special device to manage status information for V5.2 links and subscribers in a full electronic exchange system. CONSTITUTION: A call control part(10) executes overall call control for PSTN or ISDN subscribers. A call control message processing part(11) provides a suitable communication path between a V5.2 interface part(12) and the call control part(10). The V5.2 interface part(12) executes the V5.2 interface between a remote subscriber part and a full electronic exchange system using a V5.2 interface protocol. A V5.2 status management part(14) manages status information for V5.2 links and subscribers. A system control part(15) executes the overall control of the full electronic exchange system. A V5.2 interface part(20) in the remote subscriber part is provided to interface with the V5.2 interface part(12) using the V5.2 interface protocol. A remote subscriber interface part(21) interfaces the PSTN or ISDN subscribers connected directly by physical lines.
