<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe raw material feeder capable of more stably and continuously feeding a raw material composed of a waste plastic fluff in a system for pyrolysis of waste plastics and conversion thereof into an oil including the restarting of operation after once stopping thereof without any fear of generating pyrolytic gases by semimelting of the raw material. SOLUTION: This raw material feeder 1 is obtained by installing a vertical and cylindrical casing 4, communicating through a chute 3 to the lower end of a hopper 2 and having a raw material feeding port 5 at the lower end thereof, a vertical rotating shaft 61 and a screw 6, arranged in the casing 4 and composed of a helical blade 62 attached to the periphery of rotating shaft 61. A tapered part 4a is provided in the lower part of the casing 4 and the blade 62 is formed into a tapered shape toward the lower side so as to pass along the inner surface of the tapered part 4a. A flow passage 64 for cooling water for cooling the raw material P around the screw 6 is installed in the interior of the vertical rotating shaft 61 of the screw 6.</p> |
