PURPOSE: A method for extracting an optical fiber from the optical cable is provided to extract an optical fiber from an optical cable having gathered a plurality of optical fiber in the state of SZ torsion and then covered with an outer skin. CONSTITUTION: An optical cable(1) formed by gathering a plurality of optical fiber in the state of SZ torsion at around of center member having an anti tension body(3) of metal in a center and then covered with an outer skin. The anti tension body(3) has a magnetic band(Z1) at a position corresponding a sheet inverting part of SZ track formed by the optical fiber and a sheet inverting part core marker is marked at a position corresponding the magnetic band(Z1) of the outer skin.
