PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out scraps while unifying to the utmost the height of scraps in a scrap yard in all area, when taking out sraps from the scrap yard by the use of a lift magnet. SOLUTION: A yard is divided into many section parts, the height of scraps stored in the respective section parts are previously memorized in a stock management file, at carrying out by a lift magnet, by attracting scraps of the parts in which the height of the respective section parts after carrying out is expected to be locally high, by the quantity being nearly the same height as the adjoining section parts, and carrying them to a bucket, so that the height of scraps in the yard become in order equalized, in the process carrying out scarps in the respective parts stored in the yard.
