AAL TYPE2 TRAFFIC CONTROLLER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AAL Type2 traffic controller capable of improvement in the quality of communication on an ATM network applying AAL Type2. SOLUTION: Together with a means (arrival time monitoring part 1a) for monitoring the arrival interval of common part sub layer(CPS) packets to be handled by AAL Type2 for exactly monitoring the traffic of varying the length of a CPS packet size, a means (size monitoring part 1b) is provided as well for monitoring that packet size and the arrival interval of CPS packet applied from the user at the time of communication start is compared while including the packet size and allowable fluctuation value as well so that the CPS packet more than the applied value can be detected.
