PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent chemical dissolution of active metal, suppress generation of H2 gas, reduce the rise in the internal pressure of a battery and reduce corrosiveness by including quaternary salt of compound and water of a chemical structure which has a nitrogen-containing conjugate structure. SOLUTION: As quaternary salt of compound, having a nitrogen-containing conjugate structure, quaternary salt of compound having N,N,N'-substitutional amidine group shown by a formula, is preferable, because corrosiveness for active metal and the alloys is small and leakage liquid resistance performance is excellent. In the formula, each of R1 and R2 shows a hydrocarbon group of the number of carbon 1 to 10 which may include an amino group, a nitro group, a cyano group, a carbonyl group or an ether group. Each of R3, R4, R5 and R6 shows a hydrocarbon group of number of carbons 1 to 10 which may include hydrogen atoms, or an amino group, a nitro group, a cyano group, a carbonyl group or an ether group. Two or more of R1 to R6 may be coupled each other to form a ring. |
