PURPOSE:To obtain an air-permeable plug by placing a polyurethane foam and an organopolysiloxane-based liquid composition in a cylindrical container, performing pressurizing and rotating operation with a disk from the upper part, then forming a cured layer on the surface and using a high-viscosity raw material in good yield. CONSTITUTION:A polyurethane foam processed into a desired shape is introduced into a cylindrical container 1 having a smooth base and an organopolysiloxane-based liquid composition such as a two-pack type potting silicone rubber composition is then filled to subject a disk 3 installed parallel to the container base above the container 1 is subjected to lifting and lowering operation through a belt 5 and a ball screw 6 by rotation of a servo motor 4 and rotating operation by transmitting rotation of an induction motor 7 through a belt 8. Thereby, the polyurethane impregnated with the organopolysiloxane-based liquid composition in the container 1 is molded and then heat-treated at 150 deg.C for 30min to form an organopolysiloxane-based cured layer on the inner and outer surfaces of the polyurethane foam. As a result, the objective air-permeable plug having an open-cell structure is obtained. |
