PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge a false count caused by chemical luminescence or the like and to exclude it from a measurement result in a radiation measuring device. SOLUTION: A sample 10 is formed by mixing a liquid scintillator into a radiation sample. Two photomultipliers 12 and 14 are provided at both sides, and their output pulses are inputted to a simultaneous counter circuit 16. A false count estimation circuit 28 theoretically estimates a false count based on the pulse width of the output pulses and the count value of output pulses out of at least one photomultiplier. The false count is excluded from the total count in a subtractor 30, thus obtaining a true count. A false count spectrum is eliminated from a measurement spectrum using the estimated false count, thus obtaining a true sample spectrum.
|
