<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container to prevent the contamination of the surface of a base material or a base plate of a self-cleaning type having the removing function of a contaminating substance. SOLUTION: In a container for a base material or a base plate to prevent the contamination of the surface of the base material or the base plate 3 which consists of a translucent material made of a synthetic resin to transmit the ultraviolet ray, the inner surface of the container 2 is coated with, an ultraviolet ray penetrating substance 8 of an inorganic material and the surface thereon is coated with a photocatalyst 7. In the container 2, an ultraviolet lamp, a photocatalyst and/or a photoelectron emission material, and a gas purifying unit having an electrode, may be set at a part of the container 2, and in that case, a sterilizing lamp is preferable to use as the ultraviolet lamp.</p> |
