PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluororesin film which has a long-lasting high ultraviolet absorbency, a low haze, and an excellent durability by incorporating a fine cerium oxide powder and a silicon compd. into the same. SOLUTION: A fluororesin is compounded with a fine cerium oxide powder having an average particle size of 1-500 nm and a specific surface area of 150 m<2> /g or lower and a slicon compd. (e.g. silica, glass, quartz, a silicone oil, a silane coupling agent, or a silane compd. other than a coupling agent). The amt. of the silicon compd. compounded is such that in the case of silica, it is 300 wt.% or lower of the cerium oxide powder and in the case of other than silica, it is 5-60 wt.%. The cerium oxide powder is compounded in such an amt. that when the compsn. is formed into a film with a thickness of 10-1,000μm, the content of cerium oxide in the film is 25-2,500 mg/m<2> . Thus obtd. film intercepts at least 30% of the sun's ultraviolet rays having wavelengths of 280-320 nm and transmits at least 70 % of the sun's visible rays having wavelengths of 400-800 nm.
