PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the penetration of dust by attaching a dust preventing cover adapting a mechanism for preventing the penetration of dust generated from the external periphery to the periphery of the contact part of a connector. SOLUTION: In this printed board connector, the dust generated from the external periphery is never adhered to a contact 2 since a printed board is inserted from an insert port. In a design considering a version up, the dust generated from the external periphery is penetrated and adhered to the contact 2 since a dust preventing cover is not attached, causing a contact failure. In order to eliminate this factor, a dust preventing cover 1 for printed board connector is attached to an insulator 3. When the dust preventing cover is attached to the connector itself to an extension connector considering the version up, the labor of a customer is dispensed with, and the contact reliability can be ensured. |
