<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying apparatus for a water tank for aquarium fish, having excellent purifying efficiency, not causing clogging, capable of being manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with a purifying container 2 at least partially transparent provided with suction holes 16 and drain holes 15. The inner space of the purifying container 2 is packed with porous purifying material particles 3 having 0.7-1.3 true specific gravity and microorganism supporting ability. The apparatus is furnished with a rotary driving means 4 for rotating and driving the purifying container 2 around its central part and fluidizes the purifying material particles 3 in the purifying container 2 by a water flow from the suction holes 16 toward the drain holes 15.</p> |
