The device has an anchor plate (11) which can be fixed to the jamb masonry (1), and to a side of a frame (4) which faces towards the latter. The plate can be connected to the frame by a rotary fixing element (14), which can rotate relative to the plate. A mechanism (15) for rotating the element is arranged on the side of the plate which faces towards the frame. The element may be guided through an opening in the plate, and the latter may grip behind both sides of the opening.
