PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high dimensional precision, and crack and evade external appearance deterioration which are to be caused by thermal influence, by dividing and constituting a plurality of segments of aluminum or its alloy, and bonding and unifying side edge parts of adjacent segments which parts are made to abut against each other, by friction stirring bonding. SOLUTION: Side edge parts of segments 10, 10 composed of protruded shapes are made to abut against each other by butting. From the one end side of the abutting part 11, a probe 3a protruding from the axial center of a rotor 3 is rotated and pressed, and the rotor 3 is moved along the abutting part 11. In the front side of the travealling prove 3a, the aluminum or its alloy material of the segment 10 in the junction is turned into a plastic state by frictional heat, and stirred and kneaded. The rotor 3 is moved gradually to the rear side of the probe 3a. In the rear side, the frictional heat is lost, and cooling and hardening rapidly progress. The segments 10 are bonded and unified in order, and assembled and manufactured. Thereby high dimensional precision can be ensured. |
