<p>The machine, in particular, in the form of a punching machine incorporates a toolhead (7) and a workpiece guide unit (4) which is movable relative to the toolhead, and has at least two workpiece holding elements (20). The drives of the holding elements are joined to the energy source via a switch (22) which moves together with the workpiece (5), and interacts with a stationary stop (21). The switch (22) is connected to the respective holding element (20), and is provided with a slider which in the position at the stop (21) is pressed against the latter. At least in one position, of the slider, the drive of the respective holding element is connected to the energy source. Analogously, at least in one other position of the slider, the drive of this holding element is disconnected from the energy source.</p> |
