SOLUTION: The prescribed weight of the lead 4 is put into the hosel 2 after the golf club head 1 is clamped in the method for adjusting the weight of the golf club head 1 by putting the lead 4 into the hosel 2 of the head 1. A bar-shaped hammer part 6 is inserted into the hosel 2 after the insertion of the lead 4 and the end of the hammer part 6 emitted outside the hosel 2 is driven by a vibration type hammer 7 to crush the lead by the hammer part 6 and to fix the lead into the hosel 2.
