Resin composite material (M) - comprises a cross-linkable polyurethane (A) and a reactive resin (B) that have been kneaded together at a temperature above or equal to the m.pt. of (B). Also claimed are the following : (i) the preparation of a resin composite material (M1) by kneading moisture-absorbent (A) with (B) at a temperature above or equal to the hydrolysis temperature for (A) and the m.pt. of (B) ; (ii) a resin composite material (M2) comprising (A) and a non-reactive resin (C), prepared by the same method as (i) ; (iii) the preparation of a resin composite material (M3) comprising (A) and a plastic blend (D), by kneading moisture-absorbent (A) with (D) at a temperature above or equal to the hydrolysis temperature for (A), in which (D) comprises an elastic rubber material (D1) and thermoplastic resin (D2) ; (iv) a resin composite material (M4) comprising a high viscosity unreactive resin (E), relatively low viscosity unreactive resin (F) and solid filler (G) acting as a n nucleus for (E) and (F), the material structure being in the form of a dispersion of fine particles of (F) or a blend thereof in a matrix of (E) or a blend thereof ; (v) the preparation of a resin composite material (M5) by kneading (A) that contains water with (E) or a blend thereof and (G) at a temperature above or equal to the hydrolysis temperature for (A) and the m.pt. of (E) or its blend ; (vi) the preparation of a resin composite material (M6) by kneading (E) or a blend thereof, (G) and a hydrolysis product of (A) at a temperature above or equal to the m.pt. of (E) or its blend ; (vii) the preparation of a resin composite material (M7) by kneading (A) that contains water with (E) or a blend thereof, at a temperature above or equal to the hydrolysis temperature for (A) and the m.pt. of (E) or its blend, whereby at least one of (A), (E) or a blend containing (E) contains (G) ; and (viii) the preparation of a resin composite material (M8) by kneading low viscosity (A) with (E) or a blend thereof, at a temperature above or equal to the hydrolysis temperature for (A) and the m.pt. of (E) or its blend, whereby at least one of (A), (E) or a blend containing (E) contains (G).
