PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polybutylene terephthalate resin composition pellets improved in molding stability, heat resistance, rigidity and toughness by pelletizing a composition comprising a polybutylene terephthalate and a specified mixed ester. SOLUTION: This polybutylene terephthalate resin composition pellet is prepared by pelletizing a composition comprising 95-99.9wt.% polybutylene terephthalate (A) being a polymer obtained by a condensation reaction of a mixture consisting mainly of e.g. tetramethylene glycol and e.g. terephthalic acid and 0.1-5wt.% mixed ester (B) comprising a 24-40C long-chain fatty acid monocarboxylic acid (B1) being montanic acid, a 2-12C dicarboxylic acid (B2) being adipic acid and a 3-12C tri- to hexa-hydric polyol (B3) being glycerol, trimethylolpropane, etc., or a combination thereof and having an acid value of 8-30mgKOH/g and a hydrolysis value of 130-220mgKOH/g and having a melt viscosity of 200-2,000Pa.S at 90 deg.C. The pellet is in the form of a circular or elliptical cylinder with a scratchy or irregularly grooved surface. |
