PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release expanded steam outside a lid for attaching a packing even when water drops infiltrated to the gap between the recessed part of the lid and the bottom part of the packing are expanded by heating. SOLUTION: Concerning a high-pressure steam sterilizer for which a chamber 3 is sealed by a packing 5 attached to a recessed part 4a punched along the inside outer peripheral edge part of a lid 4, the recessed part 4a, to which the packing 5 is attached, is provided with a small diameter groove 6, to which the packing 5 cannot be inserted, along the recessed part 4a and a through hole 7 is formed from the suitable position of this groove 6 to the outside of the lid 4. |
