DNA mols. encoding CD30-specific immunoglobulin variable regions

The invention relates to novel recombinant DNA molecules or parts thereof which code for variable immunoglobulin chains, or fragments thereof, having specificity for the human cell membrane molecule CD30. Also produced are expression vectors containing the novel DNA molecule and host cells transformed with those expression vectors and capable of producing the novel ligands. Also described is a process for producing ligands of the designated specificity with the aid of the transformed host cells, the resulting ligands themselves, and diagnostic and pharmaceutical preparations containing them.
