<p>PURPOSE: To display the result of the fail diagnosis of all the electronic control devices by sending signals in such a manner that when a mode of a certain electronic control device is switched to the mode to display the result of fail diagnosis, the modes of all the electronic control devices are switched to modes to display the result of fail diagnosis by using a communication line sent from the electronic control device whose mode was switched to the display mode. CONSTITUTION: A mode changing-over switch SW 4a, which is connected to an engine C/U 3a, is turned on. At the same time, the current mode of the engine C/U 3a is switched to a display mode by sending a signal from the engine C/U 3a to an ATC/U 3b through a communication line 7, outputting the result of fail diagnosis of the engine C/U 3a to an indicator 5a and the result of fail diagnosis of the ATC/U 3b to an indicator 5b. At the same time, the result of the fail diagnosis of the engine C/U 3a is output to the ATC/U 3b through the communication line 7. By this constitution, when the current mode of a certain electronic control device is switched to the mode to display the result of fail diagnosis, all of other control devices can also display the results of fail diagnosis.</p> |
