PURPOSE: To provide a playing instruction device with which the execution of playing instruction and coincidence progression is made possible and an electronic musical instrument by assigning a guide part to music information not assigned in the guide part. CONSTITUTION: When a guide track setting switch is turned on, whether the music information read at this time is the music information previously set with the guide part or not (PP=0 or 1) is judged. The music information is not previously set with the guide part if PP=1 and, therefore, the track of the music information corresponding to an inputted numerical value is set as the guide part when a guide track set mode flag GTS is inverted and when a numerical value input switch is turned on in the state that this GTS is held set. The guide operation of the assigned guide part is thereafter executed by setting the guide mode and changing over the right hand, the left hand and both hands (PRT=0, 1, 2) with a part changeover switch. |
