PURPOSE:To improve the product yield in an air liquefying separator and to improve argon yield without influence to the yield and composition of a product to be collected from an upper tower. CONSTITUTION:A reboiler 31 is installed between a main condenser 17 of an upper tower 8 of a double fractionating tower and a conduit for introducing liquefied air from a lower tower 2. Low-temperature liquefied gas from the tower 2 is introduced as a heat source to the reboiler 31, and the liquefied gas cooled by the reboiler 31 is introduced to the tower 8.
