PURPOSE:To make it possible to extremely easily and inexpensively execute two-dimensional mapping and photograph map formation. CONSTITUTION:The method for two-dimensionally forming the digital mosaic photograph maps comprises utilizing geometrical conversion processing of digital data using affine conversion, etc., in order to strictly comply airial photographs with reference maps. Only the inside of respective batches are partly subjected to distortion removal and these parts are continuously connected, by which the geometrical correction over the entire part is executed. Partial geometrical correction is repeated by combining the image processing technique meeting the conversion equations and the technique of making polygon decision, by which the images having the geometrical compliance overall are obtd.
