PURPOSE:To provide an air cleaner wherein an electrostatic precipitation means and a sterilization means are provided on a middle plate and are integrated in a body and are removably fitted. CONSTITUTION:In this air cleaner wherein a sterilization and electrostatic precipitation unit 16 is fitted freely removably on the back surface of the outer frame of the air cleaner provided with an air plenum on its upper face and suction openings on its left and right side faces, the sterilization and electrostatic precipitation unit 16 consists or an electrostatic precipitation means 18, a sterilization means 19 and a middle plate 21 wherein an opening part 20 is formed approximately on its center. In addition, by fitting the electrostatic precipitation means 18 at the position of the opening part 20 of the middle plate 21 and sterilization means 19 on the left and right positions of the electrostatic precipitation means 18, it us possible to perform efficiently and strongly sterilization and deodorizing of sucked air with ultraviolet rays, active oxygen and ozone and thereafter to perform dust collection and, in addition, it is possible to perform easily exchange and inspection of a sterilization lamp 25 and a glow lamp 27 and cleaning of the electrostatic precipitation means 18. |
