The keys are connected to the first (8) and second valve flaps (9) by a lever (1). By initial depressions of the keys, the first valve flaps are opened to allow the air act on the tone reed. The first and second valve flaps are arranged on the panel (2) of the descant side of the harmonica. Each of the second flaps which lift the first flap necessary lever has an extension jutting over the fastening on the lever. A second valve flap which is elastic by means of a pressure spring, is mounted on the end of the extension.
