Improvements to supply and control systems of internal- combustion engines of military vehicles, especially engines of "M-47" battle tanks, with electrical powering by means of an air-cooled dynamo. The dynamo is replaced by an oil-cooled alternator 1 whose take-off, return and drain of oil take place via holes made in the block and in the casing of the engine. The electrical cables 8 run on supports formed from plates 11 which run vertically on either side of the engine, the connectors 9 and 10 being mounted on supports 14 and 17 fixed in the top part of the engine.
