The carriage's (10) drive, mounted on one side of the carriage, comprises a motor (52), a transmission gear part (53a), and a first pinion (54a) on the output end of the transmission gear part. A second pinion (54b) is driven by gears of the first pinion. Both pinions are contained within the carriage's side frame. The load carrier (20) is positioned on a support frame and comprises a forward and backward mechanism (21) with a first cylinder (26) and base (25) in conjunction with a rod (26a) of the first cylinder. A vertical drive mechanism (22) consists of a stopper (28), second cylinder (26) on a base, and arm part (27). ADVANTAGE - The load carrier is reduced in size and noise by having no pulley mechanism for the carriage.
