摘要 The adjustment is for the relative angular positions of coupled coaxial rotary components, having a centrifugal mechanism whose weights work in guide slots in both components. The slots are in radial planes, but extend in different directions. One component(1) contains a chamber(3) partly filled with lubricating oil and containing a bearing for the other component(2). The chamber has an oil-supply passage, also a leak-off port, whose cross-section is smaller than that of the passage. The first component can have a housing wall(5) with outside surface(6), on which is an external centring portion(7). A first guide slot(19) in the wall is connected to the chamber, and extends to this centring portion. USE/ADVANTAGE - Varies commencement of engine fuel-injection dependent on speed, and gives constant damping of weight oscillation.
