<p>PURPOSE:To allow each user to know the state of the printing device through the display of a remote controller that the user has and to set the state of the printing device by operating the remote controller. CONSTITUTION:The printing device 1 consists of a ROM 3, a RAM 4, a display part 8 where the state of the printing device is displayed, and a transmission/ reception part 9 which transfers data between the printing device 1 and remote controller 10 in addition to a CPU 2. The remote controller 10 consists of a ROM 12 for storing a program for setting the state of the remote controller 10, etc.. a RAM 13 for storing various data, a display part 15 where the setting state set by the remote controller 10 and the use state of the main body are displayed, and a transmission/reception part 16 which makes a communication between the remote controller 10 and printing device 10 in addition to a CPU 11. Then, the state of the printing device 1 can be known and the state of the printing device 1 can be set through the remote controller 10.</p> |
