In a second embodiment, the apparatus has a hopper (800) with an enveloping chamber (1100) provided with orifices (1200) which communicate with the inside of the hopper. On top of said hopper, there are provided heat exchange components (200a). The cold coming from the evaporators is evenly distributed throughout the chamber. The mechanism provides for the supply of the ice cubes one by one, with a reduced number of component parts.
