PURPOSE:To provide a gate cut relative positioning device for plastic lens wherein positioning can be done at low cost and simply. CONSTITUTION:A device comprises a lens and runner pressing jig 3 for tilting a lens system by theta (an angle of an external shape angle or less of a lens guard on top of a lens) so as to fix, a uniaxial stage 4 movable slightly on which the jig 3 is to be arranged, a visible radiation semiconductor laser unit 5 for applying visible radiation semiconductor laser beam (collimated light) on an upper face of a frame of the lens from an angle 28 with respect to the vertical direction, and a cutter 6 whose tilt is adjusted such that a blade catches reflected light proceeding in the vertical direction and becomes parallel with the reflected light. A position where the reflected light in the vertical direction dissipates is made to be a reference position in the horizontal direction as a relative position. A position apart from this position by a predetermined distance in the horizontal direction is made to be an approaching position of the cutter to the lens system. |
